Discuss an instance of a body or bodies moving on screen. Zero in on a scene or a recurring element of a film (some aspect of its cinematography, sound track, editing style, etc.) that captures the way bodies move, or that itself sets bodies in motion in some way that interests you. This can come from one of the films we have viewed together or another film of your choice. Please write about what you think is so interesting (enjoyable, detestable, surprising, alarming or whatever else) about the movement you observe. Describe the movement, how it is rendered cinematically (i.e. through acting, costuming, lighting, camerawork, editing, sound, etc.) and the effect it produces—on you or on larger audiences. What is the significance of this movement and/or the effects it produces? And what are the implications of that? Why do you care? Why should we?
